Orthotics *NEW*
*** Please verify with your insurance coverage prior to the appointment if your plan requires a physician referral to dispense orthotics (most plans do) and to determine if chiropractors can dispense product. Orthotics are not eligible for direct billing, but a receipt will be provided to submit to insurance afterwards. ***
If you choose to purchase orthotics after the session, pricing goes as follows:
-1st pair $300-$350
-2nd pair 25% off
Custom-made orthotics are specialized shoe inserts that are individually crafted to address the specific needs and unique foot structure of an individual. These orthotic devices are designed to provide personalized support, cushioning, and alignment based on a detailed evaluation of the person's feet, gait pattern, and any existing foot issues during the assessment. Custom orthotics are made from an impression of the person's feet, ensuring a precise fit and tailored support for optimal comfort and effectiveness.
Orthotics can help with a variety of foot, ankle, lower limb and back issues. Here are some common conditions or problems that orthotics can assist with:
1. Flat feet or high arches: Orthotics can provide support and cushioning for individuals with flat feet or high arches, helping to distribute pressure more evenly and reduce discomfort.
2. Plantar fasciitis: Custom orthotic inserts can help support the arch of the foot and provide cushioning to alleviate pain and inflammation associated with plantar fasciitis.
3. Overpronation or supination: Orthotics can help correct issues with foot pronation (rolling inward) or supination (rolling outward) to improve alignment and reduce the risk of injuries.
4. Heel pain: Conditions like heel spurs or heel bursitis can benefit from orthotic inserts that provide additional cushioning and support to the heel.
5. Bunions: Orthotics can help redistribute pressure away from the bunion joint, reducing pain and discomfort associated with bunions.
6. Metatarsalgia: By redistributing weight, absorbing shock, providing arch support, offloading pressure, and improving gait mechanics, orthotics help to reduce strain on the metatarsal heads and alleviate pain.
7. Achilles tendonitis: Orthotic devices can help reduce strain on the Achilles tendon by providing support and promoting proper foot alignment.
8. Shin splints: Orthotics can help cushion the impact on the lower leg and reduce stress on the shin muscles, which may help alleviate shin splint pain.
9. Knee, hip and back pain: By improving foot alignment and gait mechanics, orthotics can help reduce pain and strain on these areas caused by poor foot biomechanics.

Massage - Thai (RMT)
***These sessions are performed by a registered massage therapist (RMT) and is covered under RMT services in private insurance plans. If you wish to see a Holistic Practitioner instead at a reduced rate, please check out our Holistic Practitioner services.***
Thai massage is a healing tradition that originated in India over 2,500 years ago. Unlike other massage styles that typically use long, flowing strokes and kneading, Thai massage employs stretching, pulling, and rocking techniques to relieve tension, enhance flexibility, and stimulate the flow of energy throughout the body.
Thai massage includes rhythmic compression along the body‘s energy lines, known as "sen" in Thai, combined with deep, yoga-like stretches while the practitioner uses their hands, feet, elbows, and knees to move the client into various yoga-like positions. This form of passive stretching can increase flexibility, relieve joint and muscle tension, and balance the body's energy systems.
The massage is performed on a padded mat on the floor with the client fully clothed in a loose-fitting top and pants provided by the therapist. No oils or lotions are used throughout the session and a Traditional Thai Massage typically takes two hours to complete (however we do offer shorter sessions). It's a perfect blend of massage and stretching, often nicknamed "Yoga for lazy people" as the therapist does all the movements for you.
Massage - Thai (Holistic Practitioner) *NEW*

Pressure is applied to specific points on the feet, which are believed to correspond to different organs and systems in the body. Many people enjoy foot massages for their relaxing effects, and they can be especially beneficial after long periods of standing or physical activity.

Cupping is a great way to supplement a massage. It's considered beneficial for reducing pain, inflammation, boosting blood circulation, promoting relaxation, and well-being. It can also serve as a type of deep-tissue massage. Red cupping marks may be left on the treated area for up to a few weeks later but rest assure, the marks aren't painful. In addition to cupping, Swedish massage techniques are applied during the session.

A prenatal massage is a therapeutic treatment specifically tailored for the unique needs of pregnant women. It focuses on relieving the physical discomforts and emotional stress that can accompany pregnancy. During pregnancy, a woman's body undergoes numerous changes, which can lead to aches, pains, and tension in the muscles. Besides physical benefits, prenatal massage can also have psychological benefits. It can reduce anxiety, decrease symptoms of depression, and promote overall wellbeing.

Swedish massage, a popular Western therapy, employs flowing strokes and deep-pressure techniques by using hands, forearms, or elbows with the application of oil. . For ensuring utmost comfort, a pregnancy cushion is providing, allowing expectant mothers to lie comfortably face down throughout the duration of their pregnancy.
Thai massages on the other hand use stretching and rocking techniques without the application of oil. Clients are provided with loose-fitting clothes and the massage is performed on a padded floor mat. Client will lay either on their side and back throughout the session.

Massage - With Acupuncture (RMT)
** Performed by a registered massage therapist (RMT) and can be billed under registered massage therapy services to your insurance provider **
This therapeutic session is the perfect blend of two powerful techniques: Swedish massage and contemporary acupuncture. The carefully crafted combination is performed by our dually trained RMT providing a unique healing and relaxation experience.
It starts off with the Swedish massage, known for its effectiveness in releasing muscular tension and stimulating the body's lymphatic system. This technique doesn't just help the body rejuvenate, it awakens your inner sense of wellbeing as well.
Further enhancing this physical and emotional relaxation is the innovative use of contemporary acupuncture, influenced by Chinese medicine. The delicate application of acupuncture during the massage session infuses a unique and dynamic layer to the experience, charging it with the potential to address deeper elements of balance and wellbeing.
This approach is handled by our dually trained Registered Massage Therapist (RMT). Her expertise in both Swedish massage and acupuncture leverage the best of both worlds for a holistic health experience. The intent is to harness the potential of the Swedish massage's calming physical effect, and awaken it with the deep-reaching influences of acupuncture, which aims to rebalance the body's energy flow.
This combination doesn't just enhance the immediate results, but creates a lasting effect post-session. Most importantly, this blended treatment approach is tailored to each client, adapting to your individual wellbeing goals and health state. Twinning the energy and relaxation benefits of both treatments, it aims to deliver a refreshing, revitalizing, and invigorating therapy session uniquely sculpted for you.

Try our facial massage!
Our face and scalp massage is a rejuvenating experience that offers a multitude of benefits beyond just relaxation. As skilled hands glide over the skin, tension and stress melt away, leaving you with a sense of calm and well-being.
Starting with the face, gentle pressure and circular motions work to improve circulation, promoting a healthy glow and reducing puffiness. In addition to increasing blood flow, facial massage can help with lymphatic drainage, reducing toxins and promoting clearer skin. This session is often combined with Gua sha and facial cupping to enhance effects.
Moving on to the scalp, the soothing sensation of fingers running through your hair can release tightness and stimulate hair follicles. This can lead to improved hair growth and a healthier scalp overall.
Not only does a face and scalp massage provide physical benefits, but it also has a profound impact on mental well-being. The combination of touch and relaxation triggers the release of endorphins, also known as the body's natural feel-good chemicals, leaving you feeling uplifted and at peace. In essence, a face and scalp massage is not just a pampering treat - it is a holistic therapy that nourishes both body and soul.

Fascial Stretch Therapy (FST) is a unique and systematic type of therapy designed to improve flexibility, mobility, and strength. 'Fascia' refers to the connective tissue that encases muscles, organs, nerves, and blood vessels in your body. Over time, fascia can become stiff or scarred due to injuries, poor posture, or inadequate training methods.
FST aims to enhance the elasticity and health of the fascia, leading to improved athletic performance, increased range of motion, reduced pain, and enhanced recovery from workouts. The therapy is performed by a certified FST therapist or trained RMT who manually stretches the patient’s body in undulating and spiral patterns, synchronizing their movements with the patient's breath.
Instead of targeting isolated muscles, FST considers the body as a connected system, stretching entire fascial lines or chains to promote flexibility throughout the body. The therapy is performed on a treatment table, equipped with comfortable straps to stabilize the limbs or body parts not being worked on.
FST is gentle, pain-free, and relaxing. It's beneficial for everyone from athletes seeking peak performance to older adults looking for enhanced mobility and pain relief. It provides an effective complement to other therapeutic modalities and can play a crucial role in comprehensive treatment and wellness plans.
